Art & Craft As a Link Between Education and Workinglife

This project is not focusing on “Art for arts sake”! But for arts/crafts ability to train, to transform and to expand us.To learn about ourself and to get aware of own ways of acting, of expressing and of creating. Teachers in special needs' schools always are in need of new ideas, and these teachers can give each other and their pupils an extra push by exchanging these ideas. In vocational training or the preparation to it they make small pieces of craftwork according to the design of the teacher. Other teachers in other countries use other drafts and designs so they could exchange and explain this to each other on meetings, pupils can send pictures of their craftwork to each other by mail; they could even film it while they are making it. The idea is to help teachers and pupils step over language barrier and find out how their colleagues work. In this way they could learn a lot from each other including culture and language. Teachers with their pupils could communicate with others in foreign countries. On the meetings they exchange ideas and show each other certain techniques. Pupils and teachers are working together in international workshops. At the end of the project, as a final result all these work of art and craft has to be brought together in a manual full of pictures, drawings, description tips. We also plane  to organize the seminar to share the all experience with vocational teachers, art&craft teachers and parents. Besides we want to make a web page to all of European teachers showing the pedagical and educational side of exhibition and other happenings.
