Bulgarian sweet food

Honey cookies

Products:

2 eggs

1 cup of sugar

¾ cup of vegetable oil

2 spoons of honey

cinnamon

baking soda

flour

plum jam

molten chocolate

crushed nuts

chocolate sticks

coconut flakes

Preparation:

We are beating eggs and sugar. Then we are adding oil and the other products. We are kneading dough and then we are rolling and shaping as desired.

We are put in order forms in large baking dish, which is smeared with vegetable oil. Finally we are baking the honey cookies in preheated oven at 200 ° for 10 minutes.
Figures can be stitched together with jam, to be immersed in melted chocolate and walnuts (sugar sticks, coconut flakes, etc.).

CHEESE PASTY FROM DOBRUDZHA

PRODUCTS:

0,700 ml lukewarm water

0,40 g yeast

0,10 g salt

0,05 g sugar

2 eggs

butter (for spread)

flour

0,500 g white brined cheese

PREPARATION:

We are dissolving the yeast, salt and sugar in the water. Then we are putting the whites of the eggs, shaking up and adding flour bit by bit. We are kneading soft dough. Then we are dividing it in six balls. We are rolling out one of the balls, greasing it with butter and putting it at the side. Then we are rolling out second ball and putting it on the first. We are rolling out again and we are greasing with butter. Then we are sprinkling with white brined cheese. We are making a hole in the middle of the dough sheet and we are rolling into periphery. We are making a ring and we are cutting off, rolling and putting it in greasing large baking dish. We are repeating the same activities for the other balls. When the cheese pasty is orderly in the large baking dish, we are greasing it with butter and we are leaving it to rise. Then we are greasing the cheese pasty with mixed yolks of the eggs whit bit water and oil. Finally we are putting it in cold oven, warming up to 200-250 degrees and baking.

Italian haberdashery elements artwork: "Head of a woman in a hat" by Modigliani

Teachers and pupils want to create an haberdashery elements workart taking inspiration from Modigliani. Among his most famous portraits they choose to reproduce "Head of a woman in a hat".

Amedeo Modigliani (July 12, 1884 in Livorno, Tuscany – January 24, 1920 in Paris) was an Italian painter and sculptor who worked mainly in France. Primarily a figurative artist, he became known for paintings and sculptures in a modern style characterized by mask-like faces and elongation of form.

In 1906, Modigliani settled in Paris, where he encountered the works of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Pablo Picasso (in his "blue period"). The strong influence of Paul Cezanne's paintings is clearly evident, both in Modigliani's deliberate distortion of the figure and the free use of large, flat areas of color.
