Bulgarian textile art works


Bulgarian traditional folk dress is a common name, which is called the Bulgarian folk costumes from the Renaissance to the mid-20th century. It reflects the specificity, the traditional culture and lifestyle of the Bulgarian people. By its nature is daily wear clothing that through artistic decoration acquire gaiety. Distinguished by its exceptional practicality as employment, traditional rituals or celebrations. Bulgarian folk dress can be male and female, festive and living and in each of the Bulgarian ethnographic regions the folk dress distinguished by specificity and identities.

Pupils with special educational needs of secondary school "G. S. Rakovski" in Veliko Tarnovo working made of teхtile. Them helping resource teacher.
Materials: textile, white cardboard, paper templates, scissors, glue, scotch tape.

Subject: Bulgarian national folk dress from different regions of the country

First step: The pupils cut off paper templates and textile items of the clothing









Second step: The pupils form a small book with the resource teacher, using white cardboard and scotch tape.
Third step: The pupils glue successively the paper templates and the textile items of the clothing on the pages of the book. There are Bulgarian traditionally dresses from different regions on every page. So they learn Bulgarian national culture and develop art skills. 











These are children's skills at an early stage of education. 

In the middle stage of education, pupils can already do more complex things that require more skills. So student in fifth grade - Valentina Spasova of Secondary School "Vicho Grancharov" - Gorna Oryahovitsa, own painting templates girl and boy. Shе will put the boy and girl in national folk dress  with the help of her classmate.

In the final stage of education skills have already improved. Pupils develop their professional context. They perform more complex operations and they devote more time to prepare the final product. During the three levels of education Bulgarian pupils with special educational needs, gradually enriching their knowledge of Bulgarian folk art and develop their art skills. Using increasingly sophisticated techniques of production and more diverse material they prepare for their professional orientation.
